Raad o Bargh : سریال ایرانی رعد و برق : "Ra'do Barq" is a television series directed by Behrouz Afkhami and produced by Davood Hashemi. The series premiered during Ramadan 2021 on Channel 5 but faced interruptions due to the unavailability of subsequent episodes and prolonged editing processes. Only the first episode was broadcast, and the continuation of its airing was halted. The first episode of the series was eventually aired on November 6, 2023, on Channel 1 and is currently being broadcast as it goes through the technical stages after production.
Production and Broadcast: After a hiatus due to the country's COVID-19 conditions, the filming resumed in the scenic village of Darazno, located above the clouds in Golestan Province.
Despite challenges, "Ra'do Barq" has successfully completed about one-third of its filming and is striving to reach viewers' screens during Ramadan 2021. The 25-episode series, produced by Davood Hashemi and directed by Behrouz Afkhami, is currently being filmed in Golestan, Lorestan, and Khuzestan provinces.
Originally planned to air on Channel 5 at 23:00 during Ramadan 2021, the series made its debut on Channel 1 at 22:15 on November 6, 2023, after approximately two years of delay.
Broadcast Interruption: Due to the complexity of post-production, "Ra'do Barq" was removed from the broadcasting schedule, and Channel 5 issued an apology to the audience. In its place, a Chinese series was introduced.
Plot: The narrative of "Ra'do Barq" sheds light on the efforts and sacrifices of the people and flood victims in the context of a flood and the events that unfolded during this challenging time.
