Ghourbageh : سریال قورباغه : Ghorbaghe" is a crime and mystery TV series written and directed by Hooman Sidi. It is produced by Ali Asadzadeh and features an ensemble cast, including Navid Mohammadzadeh, Saber Abar, Farzaneh Hosseini, and Sahar Dolatshahi. The series was released in 2020.
"Ghorbaghe" is Hooman Sidi's first TV series, originally scheduled for release on November 24, 2020. However, it faced delays and was later halted by a court order. Eventually, the first episode of the series was aired on December 24, 2020, on Namava platform.
The series is an unofficial adaptation of the film "Nefrat" and has received significant attention from both audiences and critics. Despite being nominated in seven major categories, the creators of "Ghorbaghe" withdrew it from the Hafez Awards competition.
Summary:
On the eve of Chaharshanbe Suri, three friends named Ramin (Saber Abar), Farid (Ashkan Hassanpour), and Javad (Shahrouz Delafkar) rob an injured officer. Their victim, Nouri (Navid Mohammadzadeh), is a childhood friend of Ramin who has become a wealthy and mysterious figure. This incident leads to significant changes in the lives of these three young men.
