Majaraye Nimrooz 2 : ماجرای نیمروز: رد خون : "Red Blood" is an Iranian film directed by Mohammad Hossein Mahdavian, produced by Seyyed Mahmoud Razavi, and written by Hossein Torab Nejad and Ibrahim Amini. It was released in 2018 as a sequel to "The Midday Event" (2016). The film premiered at the 37th Fajr Film Festival and received nominations in 12 categories, ultimately winning 3 Crystal Simorgh awards.

Plot Summary:
The film revolves around the events following the end of the Iran-Iraq War in 1988 and the rise of the Javidan Operation. Iranian security forces become aware of the infiltration of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization after Iran accepted UN Resolution 598. They send two intelligence officers to Baghdad to assassinate Abbas Zaribaf, the commander of this operation, before the Javidan Operation begins. However, the story takes a different turn.
