Asad-Morteza, a pigeon fancier, lives in Kashan with his blind wife (Jaleh Alavi). He captures a special pigeon, and all the local pigeon fanciers are after it. His wife considers the pigeon a bad omen and asks Asad-Morteza to let it go. Meanwhile, Asad-Morteza's uncle, Asad-Mostafa, sends him to Shiraz to propose to his fiancée Toobi (Afrin). Morteza and Toobi fall in love, get married, and return to Kashan. However, Morteza hides the truth from his blind wife and uncle.

When Asad-Morteza's wife discovers their relationship, she assumes betrayal and curses him. Asad-Mostafa arrives and overhears his wife's words. Believing Morteza betrayed him, he conspires with enemies to kill Morteza. However, when he learns the truth from Toobi, he changes his mind, and the plan to kill Morteza is abandoned.

On the other hand, Abbas, who is searching for a specific pigeon, accidentally kills Toobi. Asad-Morteza seeks revenge against Abbas, but in the final moments, he is shot by a guard.

The film presents a complex narrative intertwined with themes of love, betrayal, and the traditions of pigeon breeders in Iran.
