Reza Beik Imanverdi (born on June 15, 1936, in Tehran – passed away on September 13, 2003, in Arizona, United States) was a prominent Iranian actor with a significant presence in both cinema and sports.

Biography Reza Imanverdi was born on June 15, 1936, in Tehran. His father, Aslan Imanverdi, was an immigrant from Baku, and his mother was from Shahin Tepeh, Boeen Zahra. After mastering the English language during his youth, he became employed by the American Embassy.

Reza initiated his artistic career in 1958 by joining the "Oscar" theater troupe. In 1961, after a collision with Samuel Khachikian, Khachikian, recognizing his physical fitness, found him suitable for acting in films. This led to Reza Imanverdi's debut in the film "Midnight Scream" with a short role, which opened doors for him in Khachikian's subsequent films such as "One Step to Death," "Dilemma," "The Blow," "Circumstance," and more.

After entering the cinema scene, Reza Imanverdi played diverse roles in over a hundred films, establishing himself as one of the most prolific actors in Iranian cinema during the 1940s and 1950s. Due to his versatility in portraying various characters, he earned the title "Man of a Thousand Faces."

In the realm of comedy, he drew inspiration from the character Colonel Hogan (played by Bob Crane) in the TV series "Hogan's Heroes," complemented by a sweet accent, often dubbed by Manouchehr Esmaeeli. These comedy films were highly popular among the general audience.

Reza Imanverdi founded the "Arbi Film RB" studio on Naderi Street in 1976, producing Iranian films and dubbing foreign films.

International Acting In 1968, upon the invitation of an Italian filmmaker, Reza traveled to Italy for a film role, starring in "La Sedia a Rotelle" (The Electric Chair). Additionally, he gained recognition in Turkish cinema and appeared in several Turkish films. "Fathin Sahra" directed by Mohammad Zarrindast was released under the title "Treasure of the Lost Desert" in many countries.

Reza Beik Imanverdi left an indelible mark on Iranian cinema, collaborating with renowned actors such as Mohammad Ali Fardin, Nasser Malek Motiee, Behrouz Vossoughi, Iraj Ghaderi, Fereydoun Gole, Azar Shiva, Arman Hossepyan, Pouri Banai, Manouchehr Vosough, and many more. His career spanned decades, contributing significantly to the golden era of Iranian cinema.
