Born on March 24, 1959, in Isfahan, Leila Forouhar emerged as a prominent Iranian singer following an initial career in acting. Hailing from a family deeply rooted in the Iranian entertainment industry, Leila is the daughter of renowned actors Jahangir Forouhar and Farangis Farahzadi. Her journey into the arts began at the tender age of five, as she stepped onto the theatrical stage alongside her parents. By the age of fourteen, she transitioned into the world of music.

Pre-Revolutionary Success and Challenges

Before the Islamic Revolution of 1979, Leila Forouhar had already left an indelible mark on Iranian cinema, with roles in over 45 films. In 1985, facing restrictions, she embarked on a journey that took her to Turkey, Germany, and eventually France, where she reunited with her family after a year of separation.
