Asghar Semsarzade | اصغر سمسارزاده

Asghar Semsarzadeh (اصغر سمسارزاده) Asghar Semsarzadeh, born on 15 Khordad 1319 in Tehran, is an Iranian actor known for his work in theater, radio, cinema, and television.

Life: Asghar Semsarzadeh began his career in cinema in 1348 with the film "Ab Bazi," but he gained fame through the TV series "Morad Barghi," a television series with the title "Birth House on the Shoulders" in 1352. His character as Asghar Taragheh (Asghar Tork) in this series became a familiar and famous figure.

While Asghar Semsarzadeh is recognized for his comedic roles, fans of serious performances remember his presence in the plays of Gholamhossein Saeedi, such as "Parvarbandan" and "Dictatorship and Angle." Semsarzadeh is one of the old actors of Iranian theater, cinema, and television who started his artistic activities with the Oscar Theater group and later professionally engaged with Davood Rashidi's group, known as "People's Theater."

During the years 1348 to 1356, this veteran actor appeared in more than 20 films. However, the revolution and subsequent changes pushed him to the sidelines. Yet, Semsarzadeh tried to remain active in this field by participating in Lalehzar Theater, taking on small and large roles in television, and occasionally appearing in films. In the post-revolution years, he was also involved in the radio program "Sabah-e Jomeh Ba Shoma" (Friday Morning with You).
